About Me

Meredith_Studio-05111-Web.jpg

My journey with plant medicine began over a decade ago, but my connection with Bufo (5-MeO-DMT) started in 2024. Since then, I have worked closely with my teacher, assisting in and observing hundreds of ceremonies, and have personally facilitated the medicine for many clients. Through this experience, I have learned how to best support individuals undertaking these transformative journeys.

Earlier in life, I worked as a paramedic and firefighter, both in hospital settings and in the field. I witnessed firsthand how far our healthcare system has strayed from true healing. Repeatedly caring for patients struggling with chronic illness, I experienced burnout, weighed down by the limits of conventional care and a system that often perpetuated suffering rather than alleviating it.

This medicine awakened something within me. I realized that my desire to help others heal was not misguided — I simply needed the right tools. Now, Bufo and other spirit medicines have become my calling. I have made it my mission to travel the world, offering safe and sacred containers for transformation and helping others reconnect with their own innate healing.

This is the path I was meant to walk. I welcome every challenge, every triumph, and every lesson it brings. That is my mission, and that is my medicine.

About the Medicine

Serving Bufo (5-MeO-DMT) is a calling I hold with deep reverence. This medicine offers a gateway into the infinite — a direct encounter with spirit, truth, and the essence of existence. It is a sacred experience that can awaken the soul and realign one’s relationship with life in profound ways.

Often referred to as the God Molecule, Spirit Molecule, Jaguar, Sapo, or Bufo, this medicine has been honored across cultures as a sacred tool for awakening. It is called a medicine because it has the ability to stir healing and transformation from deep within the spirit. Unlike a drug, which alters perception only on the surface, this medicine reaches into the essence of the self — the soul — and invites change at the root of one’s being.

Each journey with Bufo is unique. My role is not to heal or change you, but to create a safe, intentional ceremonial container for you to meet the medicine. You are the true healer — the medicine the catalyst, while I facilitate the connection.

The Science

From a chemical perspective, 5-MeO-DMT is a naturally occurring compound in the tryptamine family, which also includes psilocybin, LSD, and N,N-DMT. Its structure is distinguished by a methoxy group at the 5th position of the indole ring, which significantly shapes its pharmacological profile.

When inhaled, it is rapidly metabolized (within 15 seconds) and interacts with multiple serotonin receptors, showing a particularly strong affinity for 5-HT₁A receptors as well as 5-HT₂A. Most classic psychedelics act primarily through 5-HT₂A agonism, which is closely linked to vivid visual effects. Because 5-MeO-DMT engages more deeply with 5-HT₁A pathways, its character is often less visual and more inward — marked by dissolution of self, profound emotional release, and experiences of unity or merging with consciousness itself.

In nature, 5-MeO-DMT is found in a number of plants such as Virola and Anadenanthera, and most famously in the secretion of the Bufo alvarius (Sonoran Desert toad).

The Ceremony

  • Preparation: Your journey's support begins days or weeks beforehand through a consultation call and a guidance email. Each individual’s preparation is specific to their needs and health history.

  • Duration: 90–120 minutes total (arrival → ceremony → grounding).

  • Medicine Immersion: 15–45 minutes.

  • Integration & Grounding: 15–30 minutes immediately afterward, followed by unfolding integration over time (days to weeks).

Hands Offering Support

After returning from immersion, it is common to recall only a small portion of the journey. Though the connection with the medicine is brief, its influence continues to ripple outward for days, weeks, and even months. Insights often emerge gradually — in dreams, in encounters with others, or in moments of clarity and synchronicity woven into daily life.

Who It

May Serve

  • Those who feel stuck in cycles of thought or behavior.

  • Those experiencing depression, anxiety, fear, or disconnection.

  • Those longing for deeper connection with self, spirit, and life.

  • Those who feel content and satisfied, yet sense a call to expand consciousness.

  • Those looking for a way to change stale patterns and overused cycles in their careers, who crave inspiration, or seek innovative solutions to complex problems.

Safety

Safety is paramount. Certain medications, health conditions, or life circumstances may require caution, additional preparation, or postponement. For this reason, I always hold a thorough consultation with every participant before scheduling a ceremony.

Closing

My deepest hope is that through this sacred medicine, you feel empowered, awake, and aligned with the truth of who and what you truly are. The journey continues long after the smoke clears — integration unfolds at its own pace, and each moment carries its own wisdom. You cannot unknow what the medicine teaches you, but you can choose how to weave those lessons into daily life.

If you feel called to learn more, I welcome you to reach out. Once you have heard the call, your journey has already begun.

Aho
